The Courses at Rancho Murieta Country Club

Our Club features two of Northern California's finest 18-hole championship golf courses that integrate beautifully with the gentle topography of the area and old growth oak forests. The two courses are divided by the Consumnes River and are punctuated by many lakes which add to the beauty.

The North Course, which premiered in 1971 and was later redesigned in 1986 by Arnold Palmer, has proven to be a challenge for amateurs and professionals alike. The third and fourth holes on the North Course have been called the two most challenging holes back to back in the entire Sacramento area. The Course is truly Championship Golf at its finest!

The South Course, designed by Ted Robinson, opened in 1979 and offers fairways that are wider. The South course still provides plenty of challenge for the experienced golfer, and provides a nice balance to the more difficult North Course. The South Course, with its more gentle terrain and more forgiving play is more like an outstanding resort course.

Whichever course you choose, all of our members agree that having the luxury of two separate courses provides both variety and accessibility even on the busiest of days.
